MEMORY

The MEMORY theme is about a romantic look that goes back in time and plays with gender norms. Expect handmade pieces made from vintage fabrics and leftover materials. We will also see embroidery, crochet, beadwork, lace, vintage knits and interior-inspired jacquards. In slightly washed and faded retro colours, such as cream, dark brown, sage green, pink, baby blue and burgundy. Wool and cotton combine with linen or silk. Ribbons and ruffles decorate cuffs and necklines. Also important are 3D appliqués in the form of flowers, antique buttons, pearls and bows. It all looks 'handmade'.

LIFE FORCE

Cultural blending and age-old crafts form the basis of the LIFE FORCE theme. The fabrics are sumptuous and richly patterned: jacquards, knits, crochet and beadwork. The emphasis is on natural fibres like cotton, silk blends and linen, but there are also innovative functional (eco!) sports fabrics. We see relaxed silhouettes, such as knitted shorts and matching tops. Cleverly interspersed with sports trimmings such as logo bands, nylon stripes and badges in primary colours. The colours are heavy and full, like forest green, blackened purple and ink black, with bright colours like jungle green, blue, magenta and orange in between.

A-LIFE

The A-LIFE theme is all about technological innovation and the impact of AI. Expect new materials and shapes here. Organic, artificial and synthetic fibres are blended to create extra-fine yarns. Mulberry silk, cruelty-free, organic cotton and recycled plastics are key qualities for this hybrid story. This results in shiny, translucent, spongy, pliable or foamy materials. The shapes are curved and fluid, with sometimes strangely wondrous 3D silhouettes. The use of colour ranges across pearly white, green-grey, metallic pale yellow, luminous lime, pale copper and phantom black.

GROWTH

Sustainable innovation and new technologies address environmental challenges and are the source of the trend GROWTH. Natural materials such as wool, clay and wood are sustainably produced and processed in an eco-friendly way. The materials are organic or recycled. They are textured and soft to the touch, allowing them to fray. In this theme, expect natural colours like sky blue, terracotta, moss, yellow-green and sepia brown. Handmade looks include embroidery, fringes and patchwork. Speckled and neo-camouflaged patterns are inspired by nature.
