Next week at Modefabriek (7 + 8 July 2024) you will spot more than 300 collections from Dutch and international women's brands. We made a selection of seven brands that are making their premiere (or comeback) at Modefabriek this season and are definitely worth a visit.

Basic Apparel

Since Basic Apparel started in 2013, the focus has been on making timeless and responsibly produced clothes. The Danish brand aims to create designs you fall in love with. Not a brief affair, but true love. Because when you love something, you don't throw it away. The inspiration for the summer 2025 collection is a captivating mix of workwear, feminine boho and a preppy athleisure aesthetic (tenniscore!).

Fabienne Chapot

After a while of absence, Fabienne Chapot is back at Modefabriek. The brand is putting an innovative spin on its DNA from summer 2025 and is keen to present it. The brand is responding to the general trend of prints becoming less dominant. The DNA can be found in renewed techniques and materials with more texture. With the Summer Market theme, you can expect a colourful and summery collection for 2025, including a beach capsule.

Gina Tricot

Gina Tricot has partnered with agency Brands for Fashion. An important step in expanding its presence in the Benelux. The Swedish fashion brand has been around since 1997 and has more than 150 stores in Scandinavia and Iceland. Its focus is on sustainability, innovation and inclusiveness, with a range that ranges from timeless basics to the latest denim trends and sparkling party outfits.

Indi&Cold

Feminine, conscious and original. That is the Spanish label Indi&Cold. You will recognise it by its soft colour palette, exclusive prints, feminine shapes and use of natural fabrics. Indi&Cold takes the sustainability aspect into the bigger picture, not only focusing on the environment, but also on a personal, social and business level. The label is represented in the Netherlands by Loud Agency in Culemborg.

Studio Clique

Studio Clique was founded in 2021 by colleagues and fashion soulmates Britt, Julie and Michèle, with the French capital as their personal muse. The collection therefore represents the wardrobe of a true 'Parisienne', with a mix of clean basics and more outspoken 'statement pieces'. The launch went like a comet in homeland Belgium with 50 points of sale in two years. Now it is time for expansion in the Netherlands, starting with participation in Modefabriek.

TWNS The Label

The premature birth of his twins during the corona pandemic inspired Dimitri Valckaert to found his own knitwear brand TWNS The Label. The brand celebrates individuality and the beauty of unexpected twists in life. The collection consists of non-seasonal knitwear in a wide range of colours and models in the finest wool qualities, such as merino, alpaca, mohair and cashmere.

Zag Bijoux

Zag Bijoux creates unique, elegant jewellery that reflects the 'joie de vivre' of Parisian life. The label was founded 15 years ago by Michelle and Hervé Zhang in Paris, where their parents ran a successful accessories label. For their own brand Zag, dedication to impeccable quality and artisanal craftsmanship are key. This results in a collection of high-quality jewellery made of surgical stainless steel, ionised with fine gold, with colourful, natural stones and high-quality embellishments. All in the style of the effortless chic of Parisian women. The brand has a flagship store in Paris' prestigious Rue de Passy.
