On 9 + 10 July 2023, it's time again for Modefabriek in the Amsterdam RAI. In addition to an extensive overview of future trends and emerging and established fashion brands, you will attend various talks and masterclasses during the largest fashion event in the Netherlands. What materials, colors, and silhouettes will we see? How do technology and creativity come together? What can we expect from the fashion world in the coming years? The Trendforum, a centrally located part of Modefabriek, where you immerse yourself in the future of fashion, provides you with all the answers through life-size trend installations. In collaboration with VIEW Magazine, we have developed six major fashion trends for SS24, of which a preview is provided below.

Unorthodoxy
Unorthodoxy refers to a new defined ensemble that serves as a stable foundation in uncertain times. Minimal fuss, a light color palette, and a reinterpretation of existing garments form the common thread. A striking silhouette and the use of natural materials play an equally significant role. Sculptural forms, deconstruction, and endless layering together create a new silhouette.

Intertwined
For those seeking inspiration for the latest fashion, there's no need to go far; step into a natural area, and you have the basis of the intertwined fashion trend. Within this trend, two worlds converge: the natural and the human-made. Sustainable materials harvested with consideration for nature, green hues, and technical innovation take center stage – proving that truly sustainable fashion can be anything but boring.

Synthesia
Fashion is full of contradictions. Therefore, it's not surprising that the Synthesia fashion trend is on the rise. Technological innovation takes the lead within this trend. Bright colors, AI-generated fashion, technological marvels, and digital-only garments fall into this category. Fashion beyond imagination that feels like the future. You can experience it all at Modefabriek.
