Modefabriek opts for a new premium venue for summer 2025.

The past winter edition of Modefabriek at EXPO Greater Amsterdam in Vijfhuizen has been a very welcome refreshing change - the unique features of the location contributed to the overwhelming success of the anticipated Modefabriek RE-SET.

Modefabriek is eager to hold on to this renewed positive energy with the upcoming Summer edition on the 6th and 7th of July; this time at the Taets Art and Event Park on the industrial HEMbrug site in Zaandam.

Exciting industrial location

Between Zaandam and Amsterdam, overlooking the spectacular view of the North Sea Canal and the Western Harbour Area, lies a unique historic industrial estate. The HEMbrug site is easily accessible by car or by public transport; taking the train combined with a bus or (public transport) bike, and— for an extra enjoyable experience— by ferry.

This all has led to the perfect location for a new and adventurous Summer edition of Modefabriek - with three dedicated women’s fashion areas, each with its own distinct character and atmosphere, spread across two impressive buildings and an event garden situated between:

1. The Studio

Modefabriek will continue to develop and refine the new ‘department store look’ introduced at the past winter edition. In a spacious studio located right at the entrance, exhibitors can showcase their collections. The Studio offers plenty of branding opportunities, featuring an open, flexible, and modular stand system that allows exhibitors to choose from various layouts. This enables retailers to tailor their space to reflect their brand identity and desired presentation. Centrally located, the Studio is the perfect setting to create a distinctive brand experience

2. The MUZA

Located where the new ZAMU Museum for Modern Art will open in the near future, ‘the MUZA’ offers a stunning space with authentic industrial character. This hall is perfect for a uniform layout of stands. Depending on the size of the exhibitor’s stand, a designated area will be provided, complete with opportunities for branding and signage.

Additionally, we invite boutique brands and agencies to present their collections on singular rails. The atmosphere in this location is fantastic, and the layout allows for a simple, quick set-up that’s plug-and-play and reasonably priced. It’s the ideal place for brands that want to showcase themselves in a modern environment, where the focus is solely on their collections."

3. The Event Garden

In between The Studio and The Muza, lies a beautiful outdoor area - with a number of small industrial buildings, Modefabriek will create a vibrant and exciting festival-like atmosphere. Think of unique presentations, brand collaborations, quality food trucks, relaxing lounge areas, as well as plenty of inspiration. The Event Garden will connect the two exhibition halls, bringing the creative energy which Modefabriek is known for.

On the 6th and 7th of July, Modefabriek will celebrate fashion in an energetic and innovative way. The dynamic layout of the multiple spaces will create a vibrant atmosphere. This is the next step into our continuous journey; RE-NEW, RE-SET, RE-IMAGINE & RE-THINK!
