In the run-up to the next edition of Modefabriek, some of our exhibitors tell us their latest news and plans for the upcoming exhibition edition on 21 + 22 January 2024. Pom Amsterdam is going all out on the stand for the launch of a special collab.
What is your biggest news for winter 2024-2025?
Jochem Bossenbroek, Head of Sales at Pom Amsterdam: "Besides a strongly developed collection in which we continue our bestsellers and also show innovation, we will launch an amazing collab with a beautiful Dutch fashion name at Modefabriek. We can't reveal more yet, but we will really go all out. We are mega excited ourselves and can't wait for it to happen."
The ultimate woman according to Pom Amsterdam anno 2024?
“For us, that is an active and enterprising woman who is full of positive energy and does everything with all her heart. She is true to herself and devoted to family and friends. And she considers it important to live fit and healthy. She wants to feel great and look awesome and enjoys it when others notice this. Pom Amsterdam's collection is feminine and will remain so.”
What progress have you made on sustainability in the past year?
"We have a clear goal to be CO2 neutral by 2030. To this end, we make progress every season on the topics: eco and animal-friendly materials, more certified production companies, responsible packaging and origin and transport. Since this year, for instance, we have been working with Good Shipping to make our sea transport C02 neutral. We are constantly working to take a step forward on each topic where we can. But it is important that we can continue to offer an affordable and commercial collection."
What are you going to show off at the upcoming edition of Modefabriek?
"Obviously with the launch of the collab. Our stand will be fifty per cent larger than usual and the extra space is reserved for the collab collection. We are still working on the design of the stand. In addition, we will of course also present our regular 2024-2025 collection in the way everyone is used to from us."
Who do you hope to meet there?
"All our loyal Pom partners. In addition, we hope to meet new partners. We also expect to meet more retailers from Belgium and Germany, as Premium in Berlin is cancelled. We already saw this trend last season. That is why our agents from both countries will also be present at the stand. We also actively invite international clients. Especially for retailers from the border areas, Modefabriek can easily be done in one day by car and Modefabriek is also a lot cheaper to visit than, for example, the fairs in Copenhagen. The range of brands is of good quality, and specially for German retailers, the brands they find there are innovative."
