In the run-up to Modefabriek, our exhibitors share their latest news and plans for the upcoming edition on 7 + 8 July 2024. This time, we catch up with Romee Hofland and Roxy Beer of Circle of Trust.

What is your news for summer 2025?

Romee Hofland, product developer at Circle of Trust: “We have gone back to our original DNA: denim. We expanded our denim range and even hired a denim specialist for the perfect fit. We added several jeans styles and expanded the collection with denim jackets, blouses, jumpsuits and skirts. Under the banner 'Our products are made to last', we are increasing quality. We notice in sales that denim is very popular at the moment. The wide legs are selling well and that is developing more and more from straight fit to palazzo. Our stretch washes also always do well.”

What other trends are you picking up for next season?

Roxy Beer, responsible for sales at Circle of Trust: "The wide leg is getting wider. The transition from skinny to wide leg was more intense for consumers than from wide leg to palazzo. In terms of the collection, we notice that prints are moving to the background a bit more. The focus shifts to the qualities, and we experiment more with finishes, embroidery and details. Colour remains important though. We have a neon theme with coral, yellow and green. We use neon for details or in combination with beige tones."

What steps are you taking in the field of sustainability?

Romee Hofland: "Our denim is already washed in a sustainable way. We also work with organic cotton and sustainable viscose. Compared to two years ago, our responsible range has grown enormously. Our sustainable items can be recognised by the Responsible Choice label. I think seventy per cent of the collection now has such a label. We also produce more in Europe, including in Portugal and Romania."

What are you going to show off at Modefabriek this weekend?

Roxy Beer: "The collection has a nod to Spain, so on the stand you are definitely going to find Spanish influences. We create that with plants, flowers and Spanish tapas. And with large campaign images, which we shot in Spain. We left the background calmer so that the colours of the clothes stand out nicely."

Who do you hope to meet at Modefabriek?

Roxy Beer: "We hope to get our existing customers excited about the collection. But also to meet potential new customers. There’s a lot going on in the market, so empty spaces always arise and cool new shops are opening where we would like to be. Our German and Belgian agents are also present at the stand. We really think Modefabriek is a must, we have been there every season for 17 years."
