In Meet the Buyers at Modefabriek we introduce you weekly to buyers of various multi-brand stores, sustainable stores and great boutiques. This week Bregje Geurtsen from WanderWood.

'NEVER STOP WANDERING' 

At WanderWood they select slow fashion, homewares and lifestyle chosen with their heart and with love and respect for people, animals and the environment. The store is for the bohemian wanderers who are looking for unique, sustainable and honest products of high quality. Because WanderWood believes that the best of both worlds can be combined in a way that suits you. Together, Bregje and her team make the world even better and more beautiful.

What do you currently miss in your store? 

We are always looking for new sustainable and unique brands and products. We are currently missing beautiful durable belts and basic underwear.  

Why is it relevant for you as a buyer to visit a trade fair like Modefabriek? 

To spot new developments in the field of trends and sustainability. And we always hope to find an inspiring brand that we didn't know before. 

Which Modefabriek edition has stayed with you the most? 

Where we attended a Talk by Talita Kalloe of Soulstores about sustainability and entrepreneurship with a purpose. After this lecture I followed a Soul Scan at Talita. 

Why are you looking forward to the next edition and what did you miss the times Modefabriek wasn't there?  

In any case, we are looking forward to being able to go to a trade fair again. Get inspired and meet again. We hope that (more) attention will be given to sustainability in fashion at Modefabriek and that we can get a lot of inspiration.
